In 1985 I began an apprenticeship in Copper Wheel Engraving in Waterford Crystal. I trained and worked there for 24 years to become a trusted Master. I produced all kinds of trophies, limited edition and other pieces that were sent around the World for PGA, ATP and Horseracing competitions, for exhibitions, events and presentations. In 2009 I opened my own workshop to build a business based on traditional crystal-making crafts. I now design, cut, sculpt and engrave bespoke crystal pieces by hand that are presented and collected around the World.
To commission a piece, just get in touch and tell us what you are looking for - a trophy, a portrait, an artwork, a special gift or presentation piece. We’ll sketch out some ideas based on your requirements and work with you to get a final design.
Once that design is agreed and the deposit paid, we’ll set to work. We’ll source a blank crystal shape locally and mark out the design. Then it will be cut and/or sculpted with diamond wheels and engraved with stone or copper wheels to achieve the desired result. After a rigorous final quality inspection, we’ll sign it as a seal of approval that means it’s a genuinely handmade crystal item that has within it’s sparkle decades of traditional craftsmanship.
